kittycat95 Posted July 9, 2011 Posted July 9, 2011 Hey guys, Woke up feeling kind of sad today (DAY FIVE OF NC) but I listened to this song and feel a bit better For another POV on a break up...perhaps sometimes you have to let something go for something better to come alone. All of us deserve love and will get it. Maybe we just looked for it with the wrong person.
luvbug89 Posted July 9, 2011 Posted July 9, 2011 OMG! I was just going to post this! I couldn't stop listening to that song yesterday! I love Bey, and her songs are usually so relative to what I'm going through at any time. Have you seen the video for it? It's even better, it shows her on her wedding day and shows how she's marrying someone she loves and not the jerk she was with in her past. I am going through the same withdrawals with NC. I'm on day 6 and it feels like a year since we've spoken. I'm trying to keep busy and be around family and friends to keep my mind off the BU. LS forums help a lot as well. You start to get a sense of other people's insights, and their coping methods as well.

As well, keep in mind your ability to let go will give you strength (possibly power as well) and this will be useful for you in all aspects of your life.. This is training for you and it sounds like you're doing well.
Author kittycat95 Posted July 10, 2011 Author Posted July 10, 2011 I think I spoke too soon. .. I broke NC today I feel awful (as I knew I would.)
TheHurtProcess Posted July 10, 2011 Posted July 10, 2011 I think I spoke too soon. .. I broke NC today I feel awful (as I knew I would.) No problem. Just get right back into it and pick up where you left off. It does get easier. I'm going on one month of steady NC. Though I may be far from healed, I do feel much better than I felt 3 weeks ago. You'll probably begin to feel better within another week. Just "accept" that they're gone for good, tell yourself that it's 100% over and focus on healing. Good luck KittyCat!
fauxleather Posted July 10, 2011 Posted July 10, 2011 I can't offer much advice, but I'm on 2 weeks of NC now as well. Maybe if we all share our NC progress, we'll feel more motivated to upkeep our NC and achieve the desirable end results. It sucks but, MAINTAIN NC.
Mack05 Posted July 10, 2011 Posted July 10, 2011 I think I spoke too soon. .. I broke NC today I feel awful (as I knew I would.) Kitty don't beat yourself up. These things happen. I think instead of listening to that Beyonce song, this morning here is something far more uplifting "I don't know where I'm going But I know where I've been Now I'm afraid of going back again..... Oh patron saint of lonely souls To tell this boy which way to go Guide the car, you got the keys Farewell to mediocrity Kicking off the cruise-control And turning up the radio Got just enough religion And a half tank of gas come on, let's go I finally found my way Say goodbye to yesterday Hit the gas there ain't no brakes on the lost highway Yeah I'm busting loose, I'm letting go Out on this open road" I like the Beyonce song too. I think it's a song that both me and my ex could identify with and sing with ALOT of passion. I am beyond determined, to much sure a girl doesn't ever (and I do mean ever!) sing those lyrics about me again.. Hang in there Kitty...
meroyce26 Posted July 10, 2011 Posted July 10, 2011 Hi, Somtimes things happen for a reason, I almost lost hope before having the thought of being alone again, but life must go on. There is no permanet things in this world because we are all imperfect and there is always a learning stages. We sometimes forget to say simple words of caring, although it is simple but if being said everyday it counts, just letting know the person we love that we're here to care. It's like a plant that we always have to water. I Discover how I got my ex back and never have to worry about relationship problems ever again: http://waystogetbackatyourextips.blogspot.com/ It helped save many relationship.
