She's only 23 or 24 (I'm 28) and the first day that we hung out she told me that she has been single forever, and only been in one relationship her entire life. A few hours of us hanging out, we were going to a local bar to have some drinks but before we left her place I leaned in to kiss her and we kissed three times. Nothing big, no open mouth or anything, just some quick mouth pecks. She then said "you're braver than most". I asked her what she meant, and said that most guys give up when she tells them she's been single forever. We hung out the rest of the night. Every time she was invited to go somewhere with someone else she asked me if I wanted to go too. We ended up back at her place and she told me that she sleeps on the couch because her bedroom is too hot for her, and she stuck me in the bedroom. She was also reluctant to give me a kiss goodnight, so I didn't stress that I wanted one and went to bed. The next day we hung out again, and before I ran to the store to get something we kissed again. once again just a quick mouth peck. Later in the day she was telling me that I met her at a really weird time, and that she doesn't want to date anyone right now. I stayed at her place again and once again we slept in different rooms. The next day I took her out to eat and to the movies, and she was telling me about how it had been so long since someone had taken her out to eat or to the movies. A couple days later I stopped at her place before heading home (I am currently working away from my hometown to gain work experience in my field, but am moving home in the next month or so). When she saw me she said that she was meaning to call me to try and catch me before I left so she could see me, and once again she gave me a peck on the mouth when I went to kiss her goodbye. My question is, what should my next step be? I don't want to seem too forward like I'm trying to push her into something, but then again I don't want to be distant and ignore her and have her thinking that I'm not interested. Also, some side notes. She has quite a few male friends (I'm not trying to get thrown into that group) and I'm cool with that seeing as I have quite a few female friends. Also, as of right now I only get a chance to come into town on the weekends. Any advice that you can give me would be great. I'm really digging this girl and I don't want to screw this up.

Do you know anything about the one relationship she had? She may be afraid if you guys move it up a level, you'll take your toys and leave. Talk about it, perhaps?
