just_scott Posted July 4, 2011 Posted July 4, 2011 k here's what i realized for myself [maybe others may find it helpful ] IF you're a dumpee [like i was ] you can go N.C. it's for YOU not the dumper .IF you're dumped obviously the person doesn't want to be with you ALL the begging ,pleading remmanicing of old times with them doesn't work YOU can't change someones mind .ACTUALLY begging ,pleading etc just pushes the other person farther away ... MY ex [we were friends for 2 yrs before we datted for 4 ] SHE'S lied to me I don't want to be with someone who lies to me ,NOONE should . SHE cheated on me I don't want to be with a cheater ,,again NOONE DOES. SOO i sat around here like a hurt puppy did nothing for me life still goes on . WHY bother yourself thinking about someone who doesn't want you AND probably not thinking of you it's just a waste of energy and brings up feelings .. SHE'S never contacted me ,it was me who contacted her and it was about her stuff [the stuff i have their i told her keep their gifts ] I never got a reason why she left me ,I found out she was seeing another.THAT'S disrespectful and selfish ,you're suposed to have communication and trust in a relaationship for it to work . I confronted her with FACTS of her cheatting in a non threatening way IF the person i was in love with can do all those things to me and i've done nothing to warrant those actions THEN why would i want to stay with them OR have my heart broken by them THE beginning of the break up tore me up inside BUT even if she knew it wouldn't bring her back to me it's been over a month now since she just bailed on us ,she's never tried to repair it or come clean about what she's done ,I don't believe she will . I just gave up on her as she did me obviously ,I'M not gonna avoid places or events because she maybe their and having more fun than me i'd miss out by not going . OTTOM line if they don't want to be with you for whatever reason then it just wasn't meant to be ,and nothing said or done will change their minds DON'T make yourself sick over it put on a brave face and find someone who want's you as much as you want them EVERYONE deserves to be happy life is short ,you've tried something with someone and it failed for whatever reason AND if they gave a reason true or not would it really matter anyways ? their going or already gone THEIRS no rule book on datting and breaking up anything goes
