udolipixie Posted July 5, 2011 Posted July 5, 2011 I was reading the bitter guys thread and someone mentioned SATC and it being a poor influence on women. It gave me the thought about what the show would have been like if the gender roles were reversed: A. A serial womanizer pushing 40 and going through women constantly B. A guy hung up on hot woman is constantly unsure if she really want a relationship with him while passing up great women. C. A workaholic lawyer that is bitter D. A guy who wants a fairytale, model hot, homemaker wife Would this show be a hit? Would you watch it? Thoughts? No need to watch it that happens in real life all the time. In fact it happens on these boards here except C. B & D is the norm and there are a few A's. However there are a few of those characters in Mad Men and all in Men Of A Certain Age though the traits are combined in that one. If marketed correctly it cold be a hit. I wouldn't watch it I see those types in real life & online enough.
