lillypad24 Posted July 3, 2011 Posted July 3, 2011 I was in a long distance relationship with my ex and he broke up with me over an email while away after he promised he would never hurt me. When he came back few months later, he wanted to date me again. I still had feelings but at that point I was trying to get over him so I didn't want to get back togeither with him since I didn't trust him anymore not to leave me again. Anyways a couple weeks later after I told him dating wasn't a good idea and that we should just be civil. I was out with my aunt one night outside a bar and he comes over with some girls he was with and nudges me to get my attention and says "you see what you're missing" and then proceeds to kiss one of the girls he was with right in front of me. It hurt so much, I didn't even know how to react? what you guys do in a situation like this?
O_O Posted July 3, 2011 Posted July 3, 2011 Turn and walk away. That is such an immature and jerky thing to do that there's no point in justifying it with any other type of response. He hurt you, decided he wanted you back, and instead of taking the high road of accepting your hesitance and trying to slowly re-earn your trust he decides to lash out at you like this. Ignore him, because as long as he's acting like an angry little kid he doesn't even deserve to be acknowledged.

Think about it. If he's going to pull a stunt like that, he definitely has some maturing to do on his part. It also goes to show how much he actually cares about you if he's going to hurt as well as disrespect you like that out in public. You're not missing out on all that much to be honest. Don't let a bozo like that bring you down. You deserve so much better and I'm 100% positive that you're doing the right thing. It will get much better soon and you'll look back at this situation and laugh at his stupidity.
