I keep punishing my husband for his affair

If the states you mention are about state law instead of civil law, as far as I know the laws are as valuable as prosecuting a dog for urinating on a hydrant near a church on Sunday. I'm really interested to know if breaking M vows and contract are punishable to anyone BUT AP.

Unknown, and to be honest I'm not interested in doing the research. My divorce has been final for years. I found the above on google. 30-seconds.

I've heard some BS' was often successful in charging abandonment against the WAS. I seem to recall a similar angle against the AP too...

The law is a very messy thing. The ability to actually do something like this depends on numerous factors well beyond what is taught at law school, or what sounds correct on paper. I dunno, if anyone here seriously wants to know what their legal rights are, chatting with an experienced lawyer would be your best bet.

You know, speaking of fantastical BSs, I remember a former patient of one of my old co-workers. He exaggerated the severity of his mental illness, and faked numerous suicide attempts. After that, he started throwing lawsuits at his cheating wife, her new boyfriend, and pretty much everyone else involved. Got away with quite a bit of money too.

Darkest pits of the internet.

The OP is mentally disturbed and likely to end up in prison if she keeps it up. Good god this thread is simply DISGUSTING
I really doubt that this is real WN.

Although, if you are that worried, you could contact certain people and they could pretty easily track her down for free. Everything on the internet leaves a trail.

I know it's a t/j but is this really true and is it quite so easy?

I understand every connection to the internet uses an ISP and has a unique identifier but someone using a laptop, bought in Singapore, in a free public wireless area would be difficult to trace.

Various warrants/court orders would need to be sought to even start a search and there would need to be credible evidence that some sort of crime/offence had occurred. Somebody posting a possibly fictional story on the internet may not be enough to convince of this.

You know how many criminals are stupid enough to not use stolen cars, pre-paid phones, or stolen laptops leeching off somebody elses internet connection? The majority of people have no idea as to what kind of surveillance tools are available.

If OP was willing to post a confession in the first place, I doubt that she will be the type to hide in Singapore with a laptop. If she is mentally unstable, or simply a troll, than it's easy enough for her to make silly mistakes.

As for tracing her...it doesn't mean that the police need to get involved immediately. Many people use PIs or hackers to gather evidence, than contact the police as a coup de grace. I know quite a few legal loopholes in this area, myself.

What line of work are you in Sid? Something in law?

Just curious...

Yes. I've been a CPA since getting my degree in accounting and economics many years ago.

More recently a lawyer with an LLB.

I was a fraud investigator for many years too...

What's next, Peggy? Drug him so he goes to sleep, tie him to the bed, cut his penis off and throw in the garbage disposal?

Sound familiar?

If I were you, I'd stop what you were doing right now. There are plenty of other ways you can get back at him, if you so feel the need to. You are basically poisoning him and that's not funny.

Alright. Well, the reason that OP wouldn't be safe (if anyone gave a d*mn) is simply because the internet is about as secure as a bottle of cough syrup left outside a crackhouse. There are free programs that you or I could run, to trace her right now. It all runs automatically too so we wouldn't need to do much.

Usually in situations like this, the pigs would be too busy focusing their attention on the woman who is supposedly poisoning her husband, instead of the random twits on the internet who have violated her privacy.

At least that was my experience while working with them.

Heh, now you're making me nervous.

Although, I've spent enough time around lawyers to know what to say.

Oh, I also have zero intentions of violating anybody's privacy...ever. And I am not advocating that any users here break any laws or do anything that might be considered as such. This is all hypothetical. Of course.

Anyway, this thread is getting ridiculous. Actually, it was already ridiculous from the start.
