soulseek Posted July 2, 2011 Posted July 2, 2011 there is this guy ive been hanging out with for a little over a month. lastnight he told me that he really liked me. however after consuming quite a bit of alcohol, he also told me that he couldnt date me until he got back from his 1 week vacation with his friends... obviously this is a red flag. i talked to him in the morning and he tried to tell me (as a cover up, im sure) that if by chance we started dating before that, i would have nothing to worry about while he was gone. I told him i didnt know what to believe because usually drunken words are sober thoughts. He also said that some girls would actually wait for the return of their crush..... SO he wants his cake and he wants to eat it too? He wants to mess around and come back home to me? I REALLY like this guy. what would you guys do in this situation. leave him? wait around and see if perhaps the relationship develops further BEFORE he goes on vacation..
