I have been with my b/f only for a year but he lives with me and we have an awesome relationship. He is also Wonderful to my son, although he is not my son's father my son adores him and even call's him DADDY G.

We are planning on buying a home together and I am helping him run his business. It seems like we're married we talk about our future, having kids, ect. and we both communicate our needs well.

I am ready to get married like YESTERDAY. I think it is important for my son, and if we're buying a home together to be married. I don't think he would object to the situation but how do I get him to ask me! Any suggestions?

Yes. Don't pressurise him. That's the greatest advice you'll ever hear.

Even if the pressure does work, and he asks you to marry him, you're always going to wonder if you've coerced him. Just let it be, be your wonderful self, tell him how much he means to you, and how you want to spend the rest of you life with him, and he'll come around. He'll ask you when he's ready. It has to be a mutual thing.

Good luck!

Ask him.

Don't be blunt about it. Just drop it in the conversation a bit more often, so if he's unsure about how you feel towards the subject, let him understand you're "opened to proposals" :) . Good luck to you and remeber, be tactful!!!

God I love happy endings!
