Author LadyFlame Posted June 28, 2011 Author Posted June 28, 2011 Oh I see. Well, it's a date. He wants to do those 'more' things again but wants to show you that he has a cultured, civilised side that knows how to take a girl out for dinner. If you run out of small-talk you can ask him why he invited you and what sort of relationship he's looking for. Yup, can do. And to be honest, it's nice to meet someone who actually wants to take me out for dinner and has a car, etc. In the past, I've found the usual type of guy I attract is the relatively goodlooking one who smokes weed, usually creative, has no money, and me usually trying to "save" him from himself. Not that money is in any way a big issue for me, it really isn't and I'm more than happy to pay for things. But it does make a nice change!
reboot Posted June 28, 2011 Posted June 28, 2011 I'm betting he's really interested in those 'more' things....
in_absentia Posted June 28, 2011 Posted June 28, 2011 The generation gap at work. Men of his age do not consider texting to be a legitimate form of communication. And yes, a dinner date is pretty standard for us older guys. You're not going to find you have a lot in common I'm afraid. Haha, what an assumption! Sweet jesus... one of my close friends and previous partners is a 42 year old guy, I'm 23 and was 22 when we were seeing each other. We had incredible chemistry and crap loads in common. Don't judge people based on age.
Author LadyFlame Posted June 28, 2011 Author Posted June 28, 2011 I can't believe how nervous I actually am, me of all people, it's so silly and what if I don't even like him anyway? The thing is I do like him right now, at this specific moment in time but I do change course quite suddenly;

In any case its not like he's about to ask you to wear his pin or something. Just enjoy it if you want it, and dump him if you lose interest.

Yeah that's true, though I can't stop obsessing about it, like what to wear. I'll describe to you what I'm going to wear; this pink top with a black ruff and blue jeggings and my 'Underworld' boots with grey fur at the top. Nothing revealing, top's a bit low-cut but not majorly so. No skirts of anything like that. What do you think?

I personally like seeing a girl in a dress or skirt. I also love foot wear that lets me see her feet. But my gf looks great in boots and what ever else she wants to wear. If you like what you’re wearing you’ll be more likely to have a good time. Since you already had sex I’m guessing there will be an encore he’ll have fun taking off all those clothes and seeing you nude.

Yeah, I am definitely not the skirt/dress type, much more the boots and leggings/jeggings type. I'm meeting him straight after work too and I definitely don't want to go into work looking too glammed up lol .... Plus there are two other guys at work I've had my eyes on recently

Plus there are two other guys at work I've had my eyes on recently he told you he made reservations at the restaurant to let you know that it was a restaurant that required reservations, so that you would not show up in boots and jeans.
