BetheButterfly Posted June 28, 2011 Posted June 28, 2011 I have no idea what she personally believes, but I was watching CNN's Freedom Project: Ending Modern-Day Slavery, and Demi's passion in giving of her time and self to help people is awesome!!! Both Demi and Anuradha Koirala, a remarkable lady who has dedicated her life to helping the girls, are inspirations and truly make the world go round. Without people like them, the world would be a much more painful place to many people. It's fantastic that people of any belief can help others and can work together to make the earth a better place for everybody!!!

Her empathy towards those who have suffered may be one of the reasons why she is helping others. It makes me so happy to see a person so beautiful and so famous helping those who other people don't even think that much about.
quankanne Posted July 1, 2011 Posted July 1, 2011 I think I'm more impressed that someone who commands such a high salary for her movies walked away from Hollywood to raise her kids in a more realistic environment. I think I'd read Idaho? That takes a lot of conviction to do that!
