richard9 Posted June 28, 2011 Posted June 28, 2011 does anyone have any thoughts / experiences of been dumped then your boyfriend / girlfriend acting like they never said it or say something like "i was only joking"?? it hurts so much !!! it happened the other day she said "its over" and then (out of guilt? control? a way to get at me?) she said "i was only joking". how can girls be so cruel?? this is the second time she has said it, if she says it one more time then i will say its over, i would only ever say something like that if i meant it. just wondering if anyone else has had this experience and how long the relationship lasted and reasons behind why their partner said it? thanks for any help
Exit Posted June 28, 2011 Posted June 28, 2011 Can't say it ever really happened to me, but it is not cool that your gf thinks that is something to be said lightly. At the very least I would spend a few days apart from her to make her get it through her head that saying that is not a joke and can not always be taken back and forgiven later.
