Lucy2011 Posted June 26, 2011 Posted June 26, 2011 Further to yesterdays post.... I was so mad this morning as I wanted to have my things back he still has. I texted him to see if I could and he didn't reply (still hasn't), so after I'd calmed down a bit and I drove past his house to see if he was in (he wasn't) so I put all his stuff through his letterbox. And I do feel better now, much calmer, he has his stuff back and I've kept my dignity as if I'd have actually seen him this morning I would have ended up screaming at him. Not sure how I'll feel later when he returns home to a full letterbox, I have done the right thing haven't I?
Kilty Posted June 26, 2011 Posted June 26, 2011 Of course Unless deep downyou are hoping that your actions will in some way change his feelings once he sees you are wanting finality. But yes that is the right thing to do. As for your things - either write them off or if/when he contacts you just ask him to post them. Hope things go ok
MissMoni Posted June 26, 2011 Posted June 26, 2011 Yes, you did the right thing. I sent all of my ex's stuff to him in the mail, no note, no anything. It gives him the message that you don't want to speak to him, on no uncertain terms.
Author Lucy2011 Posted June 26, 2011 Author Posted June 26, 2011 No I don't want him back, not now after the way he's treated me. Its just I'm a nice person and not used to being like this - posting the presents he got me through his letter box just seems so un-nice I suppose.
