Not to mention, I can buy clothes off the rack, fit in standard & small cars can fly coach can run through open doors without having to duck. Those are just a few things they can't do, LOL

oldguy Posted June 24, 2011 Posted June 24, 2011 I guess I always felt kind of short around my family. Even my son is 6' 3" or 4". My point is I always thought they may have gotten the quantity but I got the quality I also use to joke that we all got the same amount of skin just distributed differently. I just don't think 5' 6" is short. I've been involved in martial arts most of my life & 5' 6" scares me a whole lot more than 6' 2" does & thats a fact.

Tom Cruise is good looking, Al Pacino is 5'7 but as you said he's a ladies man, which I am nowhere close to being. Never mind that them and all the rest are celebrities and have no trouble getting women, because they are celebrities. I'm much more interested in everyday dudes who are short, who have no problem with women. My neighbor is 5'3". Every time I see him, I want to put him in my pocket! He's happily married (she's around 5'4"). He's a regular guy. He's very nice and friendly, which has probably made his life better. He's always happy and in a good mood--very likable.

What really sucks is seeing women who are a little taller than me because I know they will never give me a chance. I also hate high heels because they make women who are my height or shorter, taller than me. There have been countless women who have expressed that they will not date a man unless he is several inches taller than her. That basically means that any woman 5'4 or taller is off-limits for me.

I hung out with the girl I'm dating last night and after her some buddies. (hence why I made this thread) Without telling them why I asked these same type of questions. My girl, who already has decent sized breasts, was not opposed to getting a boob job. But she wouldn't want them to be "too big". She also is happy with my height (5'10") and my little gut to her is "cute". Fair enough. When asked what attracted her to me it is my personality, my looks, and mostly she said my humor. she added that after getting to know me she really likes that I take charge and she doesn't hafta worry about deciding what were going to be doing. My buddies all had different views but agreed that if they had to choose between, let's say twins, they'd go for the larger breasted one. When asked why the general concensus was because they were more "fun to look at and play with"... Not my words lol. We actually started discussing other particulars like race and hair color. It was pretty amusing. My roomate for example doesn't care about boob size but likes a nice butt and skinnier athletic girls. To the poster who is short, I have a short friend who gets the hottest women. I have to admit he has alot of "game" and above average looks, but it's also what he does. He's a motorcycle rider and a fantastic cook, and uses those to his advantage in dating women. I have seen him with girls TALLER than him countless times, so I think height can definitely be overcome in many other ways. Ok more discussion....

If anything it's made us all want to be attracted more to the above average playboy hotties than anything else lol. I stand by my opinion that our animal side controls attraction behaviour in most humans. And that animal side sure does sell alot of playboy magazines filled with big boobs lol

We do have biological directives that trigger attraction - there is no avoiding it, whether you personally believe evolution is "just a theory" or not is irrelevant. However, we also have morals and judgment and are not controlled by our urges. Just as you wouldn't take a workmate's sandwich from the office fridge simply because you're hungry (I hope), you also wouldn't just nail or ride anything you please just because you see and like it. Attraction is not a choice. But we do choose our actions.

I've dated woman who where as tall or taller than I am. My wife is only about an inch shorter than me. It really has never been an issue.

I was a genetics/evolution major and your breast theory, though popular, is ultimately incorrect and has been outdated now for some 10-15 years. Oh, wow. I thought I was the only one who felt this way. One of my majors also covers a lot of bio and reading these misapplied (or just plain wrong) theories makes. me. cringe. so much. Ugh!

They are far bigger than they need to be to provide nourishment and they seem to be getting even larger. It wouldn't surprise me if in 50 years the average female will be walking around with a pair of natural D's. And I'm not talking about them being large because she's obese.
