Shaun-Dro Posted June 23, 2011 Posted June 23, 2011 I was in Target today with, that's right, my new girlfriend . We already started kissing and stuff and she's extremely affectionate. Quite typical of a young Puerto Rican girl. Anyway, we were having a pretzel at the food court. Of course we got an eye or two from disapproving Latino guys, but they're jealous of any man that dates their women, especially if she's cute. I'm not surprised. What surprised me, and even upset me, was when my sister entered the store, and out of nowhere, appeared in front of me and my sweetheart. I did the right thing by introducing the two females. My girlfriend said hello and smiled but my sister rolled her eyes, did not reply, and instead took me by the hand off to the side to tell me about her test scores at school. First of all, couldn't my sister had waited until she saw me later in the day to reveal this information to me? Secondly, when I asked her why she acted rude to my girl, my sister just sucked her teeth and said "goddddddd" and then stomped out of there! Why she called on the Lord is beyond me because He has nothing to do with this. I tried texting my sister throughout the day but no answer. My girlfriend did not bother to comment on the situation so I don't know how she feels about it. I won't press her either. I'm very troubled by this dilemma. Any thoughts?

How old are the 3 of you? Thanks for replying. I was actually looking for responses that would let me know why she might've behaved so rudely in the first place. I tried to call my sister today but she didn't answer. I sent her texts but no reply either. I guess she knows why I'm adamant about reaching her. As for our ages, I'm 32, sister 18, girlfriend 20. Why do you ask iJester?

She was very competitive and bitchy with me all the time. Honestly, I think she had a thing for her brother. She would try to talk to him about her sex life in lurid detail and stuff like that. Ewww. My boyfriend did the right thing -- did not let his control freak sister interfere. If you like your gf and want to keep her around, I suggest you do the same.

If you can't contribute to that then I'd appreciate it if you don't say anything at all, D-Lish. You're just annoyed because I'm dating the same girl I was mean to and it worked out, like I knew it would . You hoped that I'd fail in my quest. Well, too bad for you. Also, I won't let my bratty sister interfere, no way. This girl is a sweetie, and I'm gonna have a good time with her as I please without interjections.

That's the appeal of the younger, attractive women. You don't have to go out of your way just to impress them. The simple, thoughtful things makes a bigger difference.
