Jman171 Posted June 22, 2011 Posted June 22, 2011 So I went NC with my ex and it seems like I have all the power back. Basically she begs me to talk to her and be friends with her. I won't settle for just being friends with her especially after she dumped me because, "we don't work well together." Yesterday she sent me a succession of texts after I had told her we couldn't be friends. In these texts she stated that 1) She wanted to be friends with me 2) She has no one else to talk to 3) She said, "I miss you a lot (pet name she calls me)." So I think I pretty much have her in the palm of my hand (maybe not romantically, but she's obviously attached) Like I said though, I won't settle for friendship. She lost the privilege to lean on me when she dumped for for a reason she never really told me.

lalalandman Posted June 22, 2011 Posted June 22, 2011 I'll be honest, more power to you for remaining strong. Just be careful with the whole "she's in the palm of my hand" mentality. Just be cool, be honest, be sincere. But yet, don't wear your emotions on your sleeves.
