I was on TV tonight, and received a text from my ex of 6 years right afterwards

I was interviewed by the news about a new business I started tonight. Well, without getting into all the details about the business, my ex hated it, and thought it was insulting to her.

 

We haven't talked in 2 weeks. She sarcastically "congratulated" me for making the news, and said she hopes it was worth it, and that she regrets me. I responded by telling her that they edited the interview a lot (basically to shed my business in a negative light). She wrote back, "Thanks for making it so easy to get over you. I feel sorry for your new chick. I wish I could go back in time." I didn't respond to the last text.

 

WOW?!?!? I'm pretty sure she is dating someone new anyway. I spoke with her roommate a few weeks ago who very politely told me to "move on, it ain't gonna happen."

LOL. Yea, I'm kind of over the notion of getting back with her. She was pretty unsupportive of everything, and looking back, really was a miserable person. But, I was just curious on how to interperate this. She's an extremely stubborn person, and I really expected to never hear from her again. Last time we broke up, I didn't hear from her for 3 months, until she came to my house crying wanting to get back togeher. I was weak and stupid then, not anymore

I kind of wondered the same thing. I'm a pretty nice person, and I did care about her a lot, and I don't want to see her hurt. We were essentially dating up until a few weeks ago. We were literally acting just like we had for the last 6 years, going on dates, sleep overs, sex, etc.

 

Her birthday weekend comes up (which is also our 6 year anniversary) and she goes out and parties all weekend, and doesn't call me once. Doesn't invite me out, nothing! I was seriously baffled. Haven't spoken since then. Her roommate implied to me that she was seeing someone else, and basically all the signs were there.
