awakenfromslumber Posted June 21, 2011 Posted June 21, 2011 Hi guys, I met a girl who appeals to me quite a lot, based on the few brief conversations I've had with her. Yesterday I invited her to an event that's on this Friday. She told me she wouldn't know how to get there, but her friend should also be going so I said that she will help her find her way there. What I realised afterwards - and I'm really annoyed with myself for this - is that I should have asked for her number and should be taking her there myself! At the time it didn't dawn on me. Is this a major mistake? Or is it maybe a good thing that I'm keeping my distance a little?
Cee Posted June 21, 2011 Posted June 21, 2011 I think it's perfectly fine and doesn't affect your chances one way or the other. Not getting her number is neutral, in my opinion. The ball is her court to show up on Friday. And if she's there, it's time to flirt and get her number.

Ask her if she wants to get together for lunch or dinner. Don't worry though, it's not a big deal at all
