Wolf18 Posted June 20, 2011 Posted June 20, 2011 I had to go to a facility that hosts programs for my job (to deliver something) to entertain and socialize disabled young people (think 18-25), I was running late and got there around closing time . Make a long story short these people were getting out and I made a very interesting and sad observation: The girls (most of them in wheelchairs, amputated, or crutches) almost all had able bodied boyfriends, one of the cuter girls in wheelchairs had a boyfriend waiting for her that all women would think is a very "hot" guy (think very tall, perfect physique, etc). What I noticed though is that almost all the males were either going home by themselves, with eachother or with parents. I was talking to a few outside while smoking a cigarette and he told me that it was very hard to date for a guy in a wheelchair or with any other disability, because most women including fellow disabled ones, are grossed out by various aspects of being disabled (such as catheters) even if they use them themselves, and also that women are embarrassed to be seen with fellow disabled people, and that able bodied guys are simply "HOTTER". I just wish all men had some damn solidarity. I would love to date a nice looking disabled girl (for the sheer humility being disabled usually entails), but then I would feel sorry for the guys who will be missing out on her. This isn't really meant to be another gender war thread, I just find this to be a consistent woman thing to do. Short girls dont like short guys, Asian girls don't like Asian guys, red haired girls absolutely despise red haired men, and now I find its the same with the disabled, this new sexually liberated anti-monogamous society is just incredibly unfair.

No one theory fits all women... but I would say maybe 20% of women are like this.
