hearttopieces Posted June 17, 2011 Posted June 17, 2011 You know when you break up with someone out of temper, frustration, and then get back with them the next day?? I don't mean these kind of break-ups. I mean when you really really didn't / couldn't stay with that person anymore (at that moment or phase in your life), and you broke up with them because you honestly thought that you had to move on and find somebody else. Have you ever dumped someone for real, and regretted it?
HeartOfAPhoenix Posted June 17, 2011 Posted June 17, 2011 I was dumped and I regret it haha. I've never dumped anyone but I think a certain amount of regret will hit every dumper at some point or another... Personally I think guilt takes over their mind which causes the regret. But I also believe there are at least some break ups where both people where the right people... just not the right people for the right time. if that makes any sense.
Sugarkane Posted June 18, 2011 Posted June 18, 2011 I have, I was casually seeing someone before I met my ex. Then I dumped him so I could be exclusive with my ex. Now I have the case of the what ifs.
batsheba Posted June 18, 2011 Posted June 18, 2011 i have but only because there are so many questions unanswered not because i am still pining for my ex per se. i wish i handled things differently.
D-Lish Posted June 18, 2011 Posted June 18, 2011 No, never, once I make a decision, I have already gotten over it. That's what has stopped me from contacting my last ex. The fact that I know when I say I am done, I am done. I expect that my ex's feel the same way- which is why I cling to my pride and leave them alone.
