And love will not break your heart, but dismiss your fears. Get over your hill and see what you find there, With grace in your heart and flowers in your hair."
ConfusedT Posted August 30, 2011 Posted August 30, 2011 Beyonce- Best thing I never had. So empowering "There was a time I thought, that you did everything right No lies, no wrong Boy I, must've been outta my mind So when I think of the time that I almost loved you You showed your ass and I saw the real you" "You turned out to be the best thing I never had And I'm gon' always be the best thing you never had I bet it sucks to be you right now" "You don't deserve my tears I guess that's why they ain't there" Leona Lewis- Better in time "See somehow I cant forget you After all that we've been through" "thinking that i deserved it now i realize that i really didnt know" "thought i couldnt live without you its gonna hurt when it heals to it'll all get better in time eventhough i really love you im gonna smile cause i deserve to it'll all get better in time" Someone like you- Adele "Never mind I'll find someone like you I wish nothing but the best for you too "Don't forget me", I begged "I'll remember", you said "Sometimes it lasts in love But sometimes it hurts instead." Sometimes it lasts in love But sometimes it hurts instead, Yeah." SkyScrapers- Demi Lovato "Skies are crying, I am watching Catching teardrops in my hands Only silence, as it's ending, like we never had a chance." "As the smoke clears I awaken and untangle you from me Would it make you feel better to watch me while I bleed All my windows still are broken but I'm standing on my feet" "You can take everything I have You can break everything I am Like I'm made of glass Like I'm made of paper Go on and try to tear me down I will be rising from the ground"
ScienceGal Posted August 30, 2011 Posted August 30, 2011 I am at a computer with no speakers so I hope this is a good quality version: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lnsCVP1C31A
M2155 Posted August 31, 2011 Posted August 31, 2011 The song I can't listen to is "Dreaming With a Broken Heart" by John Mayer. I'm good when I can listen to that without tearing up. About there:bunny: There are tons but I second "Irreplacable" and "Best Thing I Never Had" by Beyonce, the best (for us ladies) "See No More" by Joe Jonas! I was alittle embarassed to find myself liking this song (even before breakup) but the song fits me perfectly. For anger, energy I love "In The End" by Linkin Park. A great F*&k you song. I agree with Evanessence too.
Coupedriver Posted August 31, 2011 Posted August 31, 2011 What radio..? Rascal Flats comes on yesterday...." Broken Road.." I pull over and with full boot...kick the radio out...I feel better.....LOL...Oh well never listened to it much anyway...
keepdancin Posted August 31, 2011 Posted August 31, 2011 Anything by Roy Orbison... heart prepare to break even further.
sleepykitten Posted August 31, 2011 Posted August 31, 2011 Good break up songs that wont make you feel sad... "Fighter" Christina Aguilara "Rolling in the deep" Adele Both brilliant especially when you are at the stage past barely breathing and starting to see the light and heal.
ludovico Posted August 31, 2011 Posted August 31, 2011 Beck - Sea Change ...can be a hard album to listen to when going through a break-up but it is the most honest break-up album I've ever heard... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G49Scz2ZoU8
keepdancin Posted September 21, 2011 Posted September 21, 2011 Greatest Hits...So Far!! by P!nk, especially if you're a lady, really loud while you dance in your underwear and sing into a hairbrush.
