We got together on the night that we met and from then on he pretty much tried everything to get me. At first i was a bit standoffish because i had just been messed over by a previous guy. After a while i realised hes a nice guy, attractive and for all i knew i could have been letting a great guy go. So i started reciprocating more. We got to the point we were texting each other cute msgs everyday. He would even sometimes send a simple smiley face. We met up and he took me to see some views in the mountains. Was a really nice night. Ever since we have seen each other heaps. about 3 weeks ago We went away together with mutual friends for a weekend and i had a lot of fun. Although me and my friend were only able to stay for one night. In that one night everyone got pretty drunk and Jake was pushing his luck. I didnt want to sleep with him just yet. Anyway we slept in the same bed and cuddled all night. He told me how much he liked me and this is when i really started falling for him. The next day was a bit weird only because he had about 9 other male friends their and i had my best friend so he acted a little offish. The next night he text me apologising for being too pushy. I told him not to worry i had a lot of fun anyway and i asked how the rest of the wkend was and he didnt reply. 2 Days later i txt him again asking how he is. He took 2 days to reply. A few days after that i invited him to my birthday in the city the next night and he couldnt come because he had such a huge 70 hr week at work which is fair enough. So after a very weird week. Barely any msgs i got over it and left it up to him. Sure enough night after my party he msged me again wanting to catch up. We organised it for one night but he cancelled on the day before some of his mates wanted to see a movie... i was a little offended but left it. Then he txt me later that night cute msgs again and how he cant wait to see me. Everything was fine and we hung out quit a few times since. We basically met because his best friend is my best friends very good friend. Last weekend i organised a weekend away with jake and a few other people. I made the choice that weekend to sleep with him. I really enjoyed it and we spent everynight together cuddling. I have told him how i have only had one boyfriend before and after 3 months took my virginity and dumped me a week later. He knows how much it hurt me, and he seems like a good guy and i have been told by many hes a great guy and has been screwed over by a few girls before. Hes never had a girlfriend. Anyway during the days while we were away we didnt act like a couple at all. I had a really long deep conversation with his best friend who knows him more than anything and he told me that he hasnt seen Jake this happy in a long time and that he always talks about me and is pretty much besotted by me. So whyy is he acting so weird? After the weekend was over i txt him 2 days later. It was a cute msg saying how i enjoyed spending more time with him etc etc. He took 10 hours to reply with a short msg that was just BS. Last night was his 21st so we all went out into the city. The weirdest night i have ever had. We were both shy and didnt know how to act around each other again. We would hint we wanted to be together but then he would walk off. He made no moves like he used too. Then finally near the end of the night he just came up and kissed me. It was amazing but then he walked off. I went up to him later to kiss him again and make the move but he pretty much rejected me and i kissed the side of his head.. was very awkward. Then i tried again about 10 minutes later and he did the same thing so i though 'fk this' and left it. I got up on a podium and just tried to have fun. I had quite a few men come onto me but i ignored them all as i didnt want to screw anything up. Then i saw jake getting really close with one of our mutual friends. Then they held hands for a bit and walked off to the bar. I felt soo sick and nauseated. A little later i went and found him sitting down with a few of his girl friends and i went over to say goodbye. I just stood their and lightly waved and he didnt even get up. another girl had to tell him to get the eff up and say bye to me so finally he did. He came up to me really close and intimate and kissed me and nibbled my ear(he knows i love that) i just said happy birthday hope you had a good night and turned round and walked away. I was so disappointed and confused. NOW i dont know what to do... I think i need to leave it until he contacts me. When he does then i will bring it up and be like WHAT THE? I just dont know what to do i was so careful at first but he was so persistent and now he finally got me and i like him so much but he just acted so strange last night. I was talking to his best friend again and he could see i was upset and assured me jake is a good guy. hes not the type to sleep with someone and then ditch them. He knows its happened to me before so why would he give me such a cold shoulder. He said i needed to walk up to him and kiss him for his birthday which i did. But he just acted like a bit of an ass last night. He kissed me then rejected me then kissed me again I work full time and even got today off because he really wanted me there. I am done making all the effort. Should i just leave it now?
