Celestine Posted June 15, 2011 Posted June 15, 2011 I've been casually dating this guy for around 6 weeks. We've had some troubles,some personal stuff he has to figure out, but mainly the fact that we haven't been communicating all that much(about 3 times a week) and haven't seen each other very often(about once a week) which made me wonder how interested in dating me he really is. Now he made me dinner on Sunday at my place and we were talking about random stuff when all of sudden he looks at me and asks what my opinion on LDRs is. I know he will be moving to another city in September(about 3 hours by train) but I didn't spend much time thinking about that. Apparently he did. I was pretty confused since I didn't even know where we stand right now. He said he didn't want to get too deep into anything if I wasn't open to at least consider going long distance when he moves. This sudden seriousness scared me a lot, so my answer wasn't very concise as I hadn't even really thought about that. Could it be that he's just as insecure how I feel about him as I'm with respect to what he thinks about me? How does it come he's going from not communicating with me in three days to thinking this far ahead for "our future"? I'm pretty confused...
