I am in my mid 20's and my aunt is in her late 30's.....we are very close. Is it weird to have your aunt be one of your bridesmaids? Not sure about this.

Of course it's not weird, you can do anything you want.

The only thing I would keep in mind is how she feels. Just as an example, I considered having my aunt, who is also my godmother be in my wedding party. Decided not to, primarily because everyone else in the wedding party is 2 decades younger than her, and I know she would feel awkward. So instead she's going to do a reading at the ceremony.

Thank you for your reply. Well of course I wondered that but she is one of those almost 40 yr olds that thinks she is 25 and loves to surround herself with younger adults. I just always thought bridesmaids are a way to show off how many friends you've got LOL :p
