irc333 Posted June 15, 2011 Posted June 15, 2011 Every once in a while, I would see dating profiles of women of course, like 5 or 6 regular pictures, and one with her in a bikini. Some seem less tasteful (tugging on the bottom of her bikini bottom so you can see the panty line or perhaps her pressing her boobs together with her upper arms....kind of poses that you would see in MAXIM magazine) Others, are more of women you'd see in a Target or Sears flyer, modeling bikini in a rather G rated fashion. Laying out by the pool, looking more classy than attention seeking. OR Do some of you ladies make an effort to not have ANY kind of swimwear in your pictures whatsoever?
Intergalactic Posted June 15, 2011 Posted June 15, 2011 not a fan of pictures of myself in bikinis.... i'm not confident enough to display that kind of thing on a website where a lot of strangers can view the pictures. so no, i would never put a bikini pic on my dating profile. i don't mind them on facebook, since my settings are so that only my friends can see pictures of me.

So, you wouldn't even put a "day at the beach" related photo on a dating site? Like a picture of you in your bikini with your other friends? There's actually this one picture of a woman who is a competitive body builder.....a lot of pics of her on stage with the assigned number to her bikini bottom. Not sure if that means anything or not....but, it shows off her hobby, says she's a personal trainer. I was wondering in what situation would it be acceptable to put up a bikini photo on your dating profile? Then there are those women who put on a bikini JUST for the dating profile....they put one on, go to the bathroom, take a cell phone pic....then go back and change into their regular clothes...lol..or so it seems. Women who are less attractive need to appear more loose to compete against their better looking or younger peers whether in real life or online.

Arikel Posted June 15, 2011 Posted June 15, 2011 Takes guts to post a bikini pic for everyone to see ..
Rinnix Posted June 15, 2011 Posted June 15, 2011 No I wouldn't post one. It would attract the wrong type of men. I wouldn't be looking for a ONS or FWB. Women get enough sleazy messages, add a bikini and you're just taking in a truckload of terrible mail. I like the way I look in a bikini, men want to see? They can go to the beach with me instead.
Ouroboros Posted June 15, 2011 Posted June 15, 2011 Takes guts to post a bikini pic for everyone to see .. It is so common place and normal it really isn't. The typical attire of a young woman today is incredibly short shorts that are extra tight to show off a camel toe and a tank top with plunging neckline, midriff exposed, and sheer enough to see anything underneath. Basically women are always exposed all the time especially in warmer climates. Whether one likes it or not is up to them.

I guess I'll never see my heart's desire in a bikini. I hate the beach and swimming.
Author irc333 Posted June 15, 2011 Author Posted June 15, 2011 I bet most women would have no qualms with posting such a pic if they lived in an area that is a beach community like California or FL, right?

Rinnix Posted June 15, 2011 Posted June 15, 2011 Reminds me of the time I passed a profile of a woman with lingerie pictures. No surprises there.

With how many photos on the Internet there are of girls taking nude pics in their bathroom mirrors done completely for fun, I doubt they have many qualms left.
oaks Posted June 15, 2011 Posted June 15, 2011 I like the way I look in a bikini, men want to see? They can go to the beach with me instead. Great! When can we go?
Rinnix Posted June 15, 2011 Posted June 15, 2011 Great! When can we go? :lmao: It's a shame I don't remember her name, was an attractive blonde. Just browse around OKC, not uncommon there. I guess I'll never see my heart's desire in a bikini. I hate the beach and swimming. No hot tub either?
Ouroboros Posted June 15, 2011 Posted June 15, 2011 Great! When can we go? Probably on the Saint Lawrence or Lake Ontario.
Ouroboros Posted June 15, 2011 Posted June 15, 2011 No hot tub either? Nope. Lake Champlain might be another choice.

I guess if its a shot of them having fun at the beach or a natural setting. Bathroom bikini shots are LOL tho

Ouroboros Posted June 15, 2011 Posted June 15, 2011 I've never posted a bikini pic but I have no objection to a classy, beach type scene. I feel the same way about men's pics. I hate seeing men flex their muscles in front of a mirror or and other obvious shot. But if it's a beach scene, then it's ok. Were you ever really going to be able to strip on the internet for money?
Arikel Posted June 15, 2011 Posted June 15, 2011 The what? ----------------------- making up 10 chars
Ouroboros Posted June 15, 2011 Posted June 15, 2011 Vlog is a video log or in other words video diary. Girls on youtube devote vlogs to what they wear and what they buy. It is the perfect synergy of mass consumerism, attention grabbing, and internet culture.
Arikel Posted June 15, 2011 Posted June 15, 2011 Oh, currently where I live the blogshops/vlogs are all the taiwanese/japanese girly frilly look which is in fashion atm. Not so much midriff baring, short shorts, which is why bikini... probably not over here
