cracker2011 Posted June 14, 2011 Posted June 14, 2011 My other half lives in LA and im in the uk. the distance is killing me..its worse now because i realise now i love him.i love him..and i want to be with him..i hate that we cant do normal things..like go to the cinema,go for walks etc etc. He thinks he will be home next june but i just dont know how often we can get to see each other due to our jobs.. Im so down..i wish i could just jump on a flight over and not have to worry about work

Is there anything preventing you from planning more frequent trips, even if that involves gathering a tiny bit of credit card debt? Most jobs in America offer 2 to 3 weeks vacation time. I'm not sure about jobs in the UK. A year is a very long time to go without physical contact. I hate to be discouraging, but it's the truth. Talk to him and see if you can do something (a week) in four to six months rather than waiting the entire year. Get frugal and save your pennies and you can alternate travel.
Author cracker2011 Posted June 15, 2011 Author Posted June 15, 2011 creighton0123 - i mean he is home for good in june 2012.he is home end of july for a week.. the problem in between is that i have very little holidays left from work so it will be difficult to get across and ditto for him..its not about the money..
