nlpman Posted June 13, 2011 Posted June 13, 2011 Feeling so much better now after 4 weeks with zero contact with ex girlfriend. It was a bit of a roller coaster ride but now everything has settled down and the feeling of constant heartache has left me. I used: NLP and Timeline therapy to deal with horrible self created movies and images built from memories and also from pure imagination. 5htp, st johns wort and omega 3 oils in high doses give me a constant "lift" and make everything seem milder and not so over powering. I went and punched my "friend" of 10 years who pounced on my ex while we were having a break. That made me feel a lot better apart from breaking one of my knuckles. Not even sure if I want her back now which feels very strange as 4 weeks ago i felt like i couldnt live without her. I am now convinced NC is the way to deal with break ups. Good luck everyone!!!
hearttopieces Posted June 13, 2011 Posted June 13, 2011 Hi nlpman, I am so glad to read you feel better. Your post has given me hope. Today it is exactly 3 weeks NC for me. Sometimes I do click on his online profile, but I can't see anything there (thankfully), as it is private... The 3rd week has been the worst for me so far. All the bad memories came back hounting. It is extremely hard, as I still think about him a lot. I really don't understand why do I hurt so much even after 3 weeks. In fact, it is getting worse. But thank you so much for posting. It is always nice to read it all goes away eventually.
