The End Posted June 10, 2011 Posted June 10, 2011 I was just told last week my wife wants a divorce. Reading what I have within this group she is screwed. Twin boys(not mine) 36 and showing her age. She is beautiful 5'10" brown hair, brown eyes....she wouldn't listen to me...give us another shot....nope, she thinks something better is out there.....Karma is a bitch.....I cooked, cleaned, washed cloths(I worked from home making $100K) when she got home everything was done. I even cleaned the kitchen after dinner....she gave me nothing in return but telling me what I did wrong.... any guys here want to take her for a spin : ) she will destroy you.....like she did me.... I am staying single....I got my dog...and my suck master 3000 and I am good....

Sorry that you are going through this.. divorce is tough and divorce with kids, even if they aren't yours is tougher. I went thru a divorce at the age of 39.. I was no longer a step dad as well.. Today.. I'm 48, married to a wonderful woman and the father of a 3 year old. If your wife wants out and won't work on the marriage then let her out.. You need to work on yourself and not let this hurt your work. Try and keep fit.. exercise and eat good as well as try and get a good nights sleep. It's all a process and it takes a while to absorb it all and grieve. Take care of yourself...

I'm trying very hard to muster sympathy for you but I really can't. Any man who marries a woman with kids from another man, does all the b*tch work around the house and on top of that works to provide for this woman and her offspring is an idiot, pure and simple. A man who is turned a slave against his will deserves sympathy. A man who becomes a slave by choice is beyond contempt. Enjoy getting raped in family court.

This guy is a beta male provider/household servant rolled up into one. You can't expect others (including women) to respect you if you don't respect yourself. Why would he get raped in family court ? You didn't say anything wrong against her except that she wants a divorce. As wonderful as you are, if she isn't in love with you and isn't happy then she should leave. Do you really want someone who only wants you for your money and household skills? And having twins and being 36 does not make her screwed. You said she was beautiful and clearly you think she is worth loving since you asked her to stay and work it out. I'm sure others will also want her. Once she's gone you can find someone who truly loves and appreciates you. It hurts now, but you will look back one day and be thankful that she left. The way is now clear for the right woman. I hope you can both find love and happiness.
