Alright my situation is a bit complicated and I just wanted to know what you guys think... Me and my boyfriend are Christians, two Christians who are trying to not have sex until marriage. This of course is extremely difficult because we have both been there... needless to say we are failing and its really hard on us. He is a manager to a company so he is always really busy and stressed out so the time we have to spend with each other doesn't happen very often and is usually at night and as hard as we try not to go there it always seems to go there. He is also depressed because of stress and family issues and he loved his last job so much but he couldn't keep it...

We talked about it and he said he didn't want to break up with me and he wanted to be with me, but he just doesn't know if we can be together right now because he doesn't give me the attention I deserve and he doesn't want to be the guy who just sleeps with me and said he thinks what the best thing to do is to take a break. I agreed but now that I sit down and think about it I'm unsure what it all means...

it means he's met someone else or planning on meeting someone else.

Or, it could mean that he is just confused and you guys have been spending so much time together that he hasn't been able to "process" his confusion. Maybe he needs some time away to work through his own issues or understand where you guys are at.

I have been there before. And, while I don't automatically jump to the thought he has someone else or is looking for someone else, taking a break is certainly not a good thing. Hoping the best for you!

Thanks for your response, its a hard thing to deal with and go through. I don't want to lose him but I guess if it is the right thing to do then I think I'll be okay.
