teaforone Posted June 6, 2011 Posted June 6, 2011 Me and the guy i'm dating are 23 and 24, we've known each other for six years since high school. We started talking at the end of March, and he started flirting with me and offering me rides home, and flirting with me,etc..At the end of May we started hanging out once a week, then the 3rd time he asked me we weren't able to hang out. Soon after he got a job working in a video game store full time, and then he just stopped asking me to hang out or texting me really. I was the one initiating the texting, for a couple of weeks then i went by his store and it was as if nothing had happened and was flirting with me a lot(teasing me, throwing me over his shoulder,tickling me,etc). The following Monday i asked him to hang out and we had a lot of fun, then he started cuddling with me and holding my hand, then asked if he could kiss me. Later, we ended up making out while watching a movie initiated by him. Then he took me home and hugged and kissed me bye. The rest of the week we we're texting each other pretty regularly, but this week he didn't ask me to hang out and neither did i nor did he text me any. I was the one doing the texting, but i felt annoying so i've sort of backed off with the texting a bit. When i saw him Saturday at his job, he still picked on me a bit and talked to me but he was busy working so we really didn't get a chance to talk much. I'm not really sure what's going on with him. Am i texting him too often? Do i need to wait for him to come to me? Why does he act so interested then be lackluster about things for a couple of weeks lately? Any help would be much appreciated!

If so, you only have made out with him the one time about a week or two ago? It doesn't sound like you are dating, IMHO. If I read your thread and forget the dating part, I would have said that you and this guy were hanging out, and he moved on and found someone else to hang out with. But one day you came by his job, and you were pretty tempting and willing, and he did a random hook-up with you, but he is still more interested in someone else. But that was just my first take on it.
