We immediately got on very well, to the extent that we had arranged a second date after about an hour of conversation. Everything was going really well up until the end when we began flirting. At this stage its fair to say we were both drunk. My last memory is of us kissing on the couch in the bar. (I can't remember going home) Yesterday i texted her to test the waters and she seemed fine. She even said it was a good night and made a joke of how we both got drunk. We're meant to be going out next week but i'm afraid that i may have put her off by my behaviour. I'm analysising her texts for hidden clues and generally being paranoid about the first date. I've heard nothing from her today so far. I don't want to be pestering her either so am going to wait until tomorrow to contact her re the second date. I really like her and hope i haven't blown it. Wish i had a crystal ball.. Thoughts anyone?
Art_Critic Posted June 5, 2011 Posted June 5, 2011 Thoughts anyone? If she goes out on a second date.. then she is fine with how it turned out.. Why not nail down the time of the date with her and that should tell you how she is doing. and don't get drunk on first dates or second dates anymore.. You have admitted that it is a very off putting thing to do, so why at a time when you are supposed to be putting your best foot forward you would put your worst foot forward instead ? There isn't anything wrong with lubricating the conversation with a drink or 2 but leave it at that and don't have anymore alcohol.
