So I'm really excited for my sister, I call her this morning to see how she's doing, how excited she is she's graduating. I woke up super normal and ready to look amazing and cheer my sis on....

She tells me she made lunch reservations after the ceremony at a restaurant in the area where my ex lives :o

Um, lis sis, why there? She explained its a good place, I'm like thanks for the heads up....the morning of!

I go out of my way to AVOID ALL TRIGGERS! Urgh I will be fine, this will be my second attempt to "make new memories" in his area of town, the first time was very early after the break up and I was overwhelmed with memories and thoughts....

I WILL BE FINE, time to make new memories. They are just physical places, time to remove the emotion, thought, and memory out of it.

Pete, I'm going to attempt this thing you suggested. Dont know how lol

thank you! journal-ing, I dont usually post for questions, unless I ask in them, I post for sharing/venting..etc

anyhoo, it was a blast, and while it was a slight reminder, my overwhelmingly large family distracted me and compensated for it, it was totally fine.

YAAaay.

Congrats to your sis! Man I am so jealous. I cant wait.

And Im glad you were able to have lunch at that place with your whole familys support. I find that by surrounding myself with a loud, carefree bunch of family members makes me feel pretty much completely normal again :)
