Any one else get like this?

Sometimes I'll take photos of myself, I'll love them. A week later I'll look at them and wonder "What did I see here? These are awful."

 

Perhaps I'm just having a few down days, where nothing is good enough for me. Maybe I'm just too picky or maybe I'm not photogenic.

 

Now, I've never felt that there was huge faults in my appearance, I've learned to accept them and focus on the good. There is no such thing as perfection.

 

It's not the way I look that I'm complaining about, but maybe perhaps the way I've been seeing myself lately? I know I'm a good looking girl, yet I find fault in everything these past few days.

 

How do I get over this slump and back to my normal positive self?

 

Anyone else feel this way about photos? I feel they don't capture me properly, and if that's the reality, well then I don't want anymore photos.

I don’t feel photo’s or the mirror or video capture me properly. Some days I look in the mirror and love what I see, others I’m hard on myself. For the most part I’m happy with who I am. Like the pictures you talk of you’ll come back and read this thread when you are in a better mood and wonder what you were thinking. When you are in a better mood that will be the time to review your pictures.

I look so much better in the mirror then I do in photos. I don't mind how I look on video camera, but when it comes to actual photos they're terrible.

 

My camera actually is ridiculous, shows all flaws that nobody can see with the human eye normally.

 

Blah!
