superchiefs Posted June 3, 2011 Posted June 3, 2011 So, I have been out of the dating new people scene for almost 6 years. I am now looking to make some new connections with girls that I am attracted to, however, I dont really know how to break the ice with them any more. For example, last night I went to an outdoor movie showing with a female cousin of mine. As we were sitting there waiting for the movie to start, a couple of girls sat down in front of us. One of the girls made eye contact with me and smiled, I smiled back and said hi, she said hi back to me and then sat down. A couple more times throughout the movie, she looked back at me and whenever our eyes would meet, I would just smile and she would smile back. I felt like a deer trapped in the headlights each time though because I didnt know what else to say. Any help would be appreciated.
SuperMatt Posted June 4, 2011 Posted June 4, 2011 Well I think all you have to do is just get to the next step. Sometimes just saying hello can be hard for guys PERIOD. But you did the right thing, I guess the next step would be joking, I usually bring up the obvious but with a twist and say something like "Where you looking for something? like a unicorn?(after the movie of course) then just give a smile and she will probably giggle. I would try to chat it up a bit before going to the next step. But in some cases there isnt enough time so just say hey your pretty cute here is my number call me if you wanna hang out sometime. Then leave it at that and go. If she likes you she will call or text. if not OH well 100 Million girls left in the world. Hope this helps...
