Lone Wolf Posted June 2, 2011 Posted June 2, 2011 I have a really cool friend, like he's super cool and we get along really good even though I met him not so long ago. Anyway, his sister is as cool as he is, and they even get along too... I like her, but I really don't know what to do. A friend we have in common ran into her the other day and he asked her how she was doing, to which she replied bad bc something about a guy and IDK what else, to which my friend replied "U know who u should ask out?... "X" (X being me) and according to my friend she seemed to like the idea but she has almost no time. (Which is kinda true, she studies, works a lot and barely has any spare time). Now, a few hours ago she started chatting with me, we chat every now and then, and she told me how she felt really bad and how she cried and didn't know why, then she told me she hated her dad, and how annoyed she was. (All these while I'm talking her down, giving her some supporting words and calming her) then she had to go... she thanked me a lot and then said goodbye. Why would she tell me all this? I really don't know... Another thing. Last time I was pissed and she invited me to go see her cousin's band play, along with her brother and some friends, when we were outside talking with the others at some point she jokingly mocked me and then kinda hugged me, so she doesn't seem to mind touching... I like her because she's simple, strong and really independent. Now IDK how to make a move... Please I need some advice. Thank you all!

marigold7 Posted June 2, 2011 Posted June 2, 2011 I'd consider telling your friend that you like his sister. If he finds that out another way, it could be kinda awkward. But yea, invite her to something cool so you can hang out with her more.

So I don't know, I guess another opportunity will show up soon enough, but I don't know how could I invite her without being totally obvious. I'm also afraid of being wrong about her and maybe she's just being friendly... I mean she has some other male friends so... Any hints?
