Anyone ever have this problem before? Your SO using you as a "human teddy bear"? I've encountered this lately.. all my girlfriend wants to do with me is kiss and snuggle! Sometimes I want to talk to her too! When she snuggles she doesn't want to think.. just bury as much of her body into me!

I'm a little jealous because she'll spend all hours of the night talking with her best friend... but all she'll do with me lately is snuggle. I feel like I'm missing out on her life.

Well it could be girl stuff, that she knows you wouldn't be interested in.

 

Another thought is, have you ever been judgemental about opinions she has expressed. I have a very open relationship with we 15yr old daughter (more so then most people), and it is because I don't judge, or belittle her thoughts and feelings. She has tested me too, telling me about some of the things she has seen on /b, but because I didn't freak out, we still have an open relationship. (It's just a thought)

Maybe you should do something with her that invites talking and makes snuggling harder ie. have dinner together. Just make sure you're not sitting next to her. ;-) Or you could simply ask her.. :-)
