salopian71 Posted May 31, 2011 Posted May 31, 2011 When me and my boyfriend met 6 years ago, he was very much a single guy, and liked his own space, he owns his own house but is now spending most of his time at my house (even when i am not there) but refuses to help me with the utility bills as its "not his house". He says he pays if we go out anywhere so he shouldnt have to contribute elsewhere, but that leaves me never paying for the nice social things i want to. He has even stopped going out with the only friend he had. I am now questioning if i am being unfair. I would love someone elses opinion.

If so, I think you have a legit case for him helping out. If not, then I don't see why he should have to.
