It means you go after girls that really excite you. I also find that purposely going after women because you think they aren’t that attractive there for they will say yes back fires. The energy you get from going after a girl you are genuinely into helps you out. Horny power! Any ways I find pretty girls are more fun. This. After a certain point, lowering your standards has seriously diminishing returns.

You should change it into "how can i find a girl who is interesting enough to be my girlfriend?". If you can embed this mindset into your personality, things like confidence, attractiveness, and all other qualities that make a girl interested in you comes automatically. The important thing is not to cross the line between seeing yourself as the prize and being an arrogant bitch who degrades girls to see if she can cope up with your standards.

I've thought I need to "trick" women, in order for them to like me. What I realize from your posts is that I...don't? And I am able to make plenty of female friends. It's going beyond the friendship that I struggle with.

You don't go through friends first, then lovers. You go "I'm interested" to sex (repeatedly) -> to relationship, if you want. You treat women like what they are: sexy ladies. Just don't come off as a creep.
