youaretheone Posted May 30, 2011 Posted May 30, 2011 Some of you might remember this weird guy friend of my girlfriend who tried to be a part of my plan of organizing her a surprise birthday party and telling me creepy stuff about her study plan and best friends, etc. I told him to back off in a nice way back then and today, he gives my girlfriend a gift pack from her favorite body shop. I asked her how he knew it and she has no idea how he learnt about it. Am I the only one thinking that this guy is creepy and trying too hard to please her? I am not trying to create drama but him secretly finding out about her favorite body shop and getting her a big pack of body lotions seemed a bit weird. I thought some clear minds could help me with that.

I thought some clear minds could help me with that. Yes, that would be weird if it was true. I very much doubt she has no idea how he knew. It's possible her favorite is a safe guess amongst women, but he is her "friend"... No need for drama, but it appears you have competition... and she doesn't find him exactly "creepy".
Author youaretheone Posted May 31, 2011 Author Posted May 31, 2011 She calls me and tells me he got him this as if she doesn't care (not like "Hey, you know what! XXX got me this as a present!"). When I ask how he knows about her body shop, she says she has no idea and also finds it strange. Then she tells me that she got the present, got home without opening it and called me to hear my voice. She also told me that I am her best gift to reassure me that nothing is wrong. Then I make a joke like "Hmm, maybe it is also his favorite body shop. That's why." and we laugh.
