irc333 Posted May 30, 2011 Posted May 30, 2011 I emailed a woman on POF, she was really thrilled that I had actually read her profile and gave her a great response and actually put some thought into my response. However, she said I looked EXACTLY like her ex-boyfriend, and told me it would just not work. I do hear about this sometimes, like a woman wouldn't date a guy because either he had the same NAME as him or looked like him, or perhaps had a similar habit as an ex. Too look like someone that they despise, does it mean they have issues and should not be dating at all? Even if I didn't look like her "ex", are there other issues a man would have to deal with beyond just reminding her of someone she had a bad association with. I came close to suggesting seeing someone about said issue, however, I bit my tongue. Question though, do you think there's something seriously wrong with someone if they won't date someone because of what I stated above. Same Name, same appearance, etc?
