There's many other dating sites for muslims, latinos and asians, so why isn't there any english ones? I don't get it. Apart from actaully moving to the U.K what can I do? My family originates from Britain and my father was born there. My dads side is still very English culturally. I like dating English guys as they understand the idiosychrocies of the culture. If I ask other people about English tv shows etc, most people just give me blank stares and have no idea what i'm talking about. Sometimes I actually wish I was born in the U.K

Disillusioned Posted May 30, 2011 Posted May 30, 2011 If you're talking about OLDSs that have brick-and-mortar offices in the UK, then it's probably because they'd be subject to totally different laws than they are here in the US. Even within the US, for many years the state of New York had no upscale matchmaking services because of a state law that barred them from charging over $250 a year. The companies then complained and got the law repealed because it was keeping them from ripping people off.
