AmericanHoney Posted May 29, 2011 Posted May 29, 2011 I went out on a date ( not really a date persay) more like hey I am going to listen to a jazz band want to meet up?? He met up with me and we didn't really get to talk because it was so loud and noisy. In between sets we would say a few things but we didn't really talk mostly because I am shy and he is too ( I think) then he said hey hate to go but I am wiped! I am going to get going so he left and we said our good-byes and I said text me ( again it could of been loud so he might not of heard me) and here I am today no text no nothing:( So do I text him or do I wait?? To be clear we have been texting non-stop since we met online and exhanged numbers but last night things changed maybe??
surfrider4284 Posted May 29, 2011 Posted May 29, 2011 Its hard to say if he heard or didnt...and its also possible things have changed...but still, I would say screw it and call. At least find out so you won't have to say what-if, later on down the road.

Especially if he doesn't contact you sometime soon. I have been impressed, though, with a woman who was willing to step up and take the initiative (very rare), to the point where my interest did rise.

Between the awkwardness, lack of conversation, and him bailing early- I don't think you've got a love connection here. All the pre-texting before meeting isn't indicative of whether or not the chemistry will be there. Keep dating! Don't put all your eggs in one basket.

On his profile picture he looks younger but IP he looked waaaaay different ( again not that looks matter) and when he said he doesn't like to party ( even though he said in his profile) it seemed hmmm maybe someone was lying about something lol
