sanskrit Posted May 27, 2011 Posted May 27, 2011 This is a problem of the last 20-30 years, as most women do not accumulate abdominal fat to the same degree that men do naturally, and if they do, it's generally on the upper hips (muffin top). Traditionally, women store more fat in the hips, ass and thighs, men in the abdomen. My theory is that it's a symptom of more stress in women's lives from work, combined with higher alcohol consumption among women, partially due to the advent of super cheap decent quality wine. Most of my last ten GFs had some sort of pinot grigio grafted into their hands at all times, and the ones under more work stress were more apt to have bellies. Have always had a theory about alcohol leading to belly fat because alcohol is absorbed mostly through the stomach as opposed to the intestine. Admittedly, a -highly- unscientific theory. In my 20s back in the 80s and early 90s, women did not drink nearly as much as men did, and it was very rare to see a "gut" on a woman before the point that she had gained so much weight that she was obese all over. Now it's commonplace to see more and more women storing belly fat before hip, thigh and butt fat.

Proper fat should be stored in places that keeps her at least moderately attractive, like the things you stated above but women got the nerve to act entitled looking like a slob! Pathetic.

We do love our pinot. This might encourage another slew of odd responses but many girls do have bellies and I have noticed a correlation to drinking. I have 1 drink a week at most and have a flat stomach. I'm a trunk girl. I have a lot of very thin friends with bellies and they frequent the bars 3 times a night or so and can drink me to shame.

Obviously you're fit because you choose to be. Even if you're not quite as pretty to some, you'll be greatly desired by many others for the simple fact that you take care of yourself, which demonstrates a lot about your character; who you are as a person. I respect and value that .

And now I'm picturing them locked inside, topless, struggling to suck Chicken McNuggets through a long straw that squeezes through the keyhole and into a sack of junk food just outside the door. Salma has chocolate crumbs in her thick, luxuriant beard.
Tybalt Posted May 27, 2011 Posted May 27, 2011 I'm 5'9" and 123 lbs but in my 30's, I've noticed it isn't as easy to stay totally firm in the midsection. If I gain any weight at all, it seems to want to go there. I run, work out, and eat lean proteins and vegetables primarily, and am toned, but as I'm getting older, I notice my weight distribution is changing. It is just the way it is. I'm happy with myself, and I wish more women liked their bodies. I do understand wanting to see that someone takes care of themself as a criterion for dating them, but if they do and they still have a less-than-ideal weight distribution, that may not really be a reflection of their effort and lifestyle. People like what they like, and that's fine, but I've discovered many times in life that when I generalize instead of taking people on an individual basis, I end up being incorrect in my assessment.

This is exactly my point from earlier in my posts: that women in their 30s are expected to start gaining fat in their abdomen, though I've seen some that don't have any, but they hit the gym quite regularly to keep it that way. My beef is with the younger ladies in their 20s and even below that with a mama-jama belly the size of a over inflated beach ball . How disgraceful!
