TheLawmaker Posted May 26, 2011 Posted May 26, 2011 Yet I don't know how to make a move. Long story short: I have been visiting a relative, who lives in a nursing home. This girl works there as an RN, and we've been really chatty. However, I am hesitant to make a move because A.) I am very socially awkward, B.) she is taking care of my relative, and C.) it would lead to something awkward, if she was still working there and had rejected me. I am not afraid of rejection, but I normally don't fall for girls very often, or feel anything. This girl, I feel something, but it is very inconvenient. I also don't have a lot of experience, and am afraid of failing. I had one short relationship, which failed, and am still a virgin. What would you do in my situation?

Ask her if shes single and if so can you call her sometime. If shes is single and isn't interested she will prob say she has a bf anyway.

I was going to shoot for the awkward, "Hey, wanna go out for coffee sometime?", but that's so last century. Plus, I don't know what to ask her to do for a date, so I'd have to come up with something. Maybe I can think of something in between, if she does say yes.

And than once you get it, call her and get to know her on the phone.. before asking her out

Now I just need to find a time when I can talk to her alone, and not be inconveniencing her at her job. That's sort of awkward, too.
