I wonder how many of you factor in fashion, skin and eye color; etc. Who's parents "truly" believe in, "I don't care what they look like, just bring home a respectable man/woman". Honestly.. That's what my folks told me, and therefore I don't really have a "type" set in stone. For me at least, there's a MASSIVE difference between "preference" and "type". For me, a type is more set in stone than my preferences. For some women, the opposite may be true. I wouldn't say I have a type, but I do have a couple of preferences. I was married to a guy that was close to 300lbs, I've dated bodybuilders, and I've dated very thin guys. My exhusband was 6'3", and I've had ex-boyfriends as short as 5'4" (I'm 5'7"). I've dated men with all manner of hair color, and several that had no hair. So, there's no physical type I really follow. Preference-wise, I prefer short, muscular bald guys, or tall, thin guys with a full head of dark hair. If he's otherwise great but tends to be average height, I'm not going to feel like I'm missing out.

NicoleM Posted May 28, 2011 Posted May 28, 2011 It's funny I am 5'9 and every guy I have ever dated is shorter than me. The funniest part is when they lie about their height. I am 5'10 riiiiight that's funny because I am taller than you:p Generally I like taller guys but I guess since I am so tall it's hard finding them.
