I say go.

My husband used to host a guy get together at the house once a year. My husband's college buddies would stay with us and they would play D&D and hang out. We have a small guest house and all the guys would stay out there.

At first, I was reluctant to go over there. No wives ever came. But they kept insisting so I finally did. I had the best time ever. They treated me like one of the guys and truly didn't mind a bit.

Granted, I gave them plenty of alone time but I don't think being the only girl in a group of guys is bad at all. Not if they truly all want you there.

If you BF is a pro then he must go on alot of ski trips? Perhaps this isn't a "special guy trip" to him so that would be why he wants you to go. Having a gf along would be the clincher for me. Glad it seems to be working out. :)

Don't go.

I host a guys only ski trip every year with a bunch of my friends. This was our 16th year. We ski hard all day, eat at the finest restaurants for dinner, go back to the condo and collapse, and then wake up and do it all over again.

Nobody on my trip would ever want their wives or girlfriends to join us. You will ruin this trip for him and his friends. I'm surprised his friends would want you there even if he does (for some strange reason).

he's going to accommodate you, teach you to ski, wants you to go, and the friends like you. So go if you want to go.

The title of this thread sounds like the first line of the first scene of a lifetime movie.

Don't go on this trip. That way there be danger for your relationship and perhaps even for you.

Totally agree. He's probably just enthusiastically encouraging her to go out of guilt, but secretly hoping she realizes that it's not a good idea and doesn't go.

Also, his friends will resent you if you go, ES... particularly if you add extra non-skiing girls to the mix.

So in addition to my inability to ski, I will also be crashing a boy's weekend. I have met them already multiple times and they seem to like me. They are all pretty smart and cool but none are bringing their girlfriends.

Ask them why they aren't bringing their girlfriends.

Exactly. And I doubt every single last one of them is single.

Putting the shoe on the other foot, I can only imagine how peeved my girlfriends would be if I invited BF and his friend along on an upcoming girls' spa weekend to Napa...
