momo81 Posted May 25, 2011 Posted May 25, 2011 Hi all Okay, so went on a business meeting last week and met a nice man who wishes to remain in contact. And has been everyday since we went our own ways. Thing is, as these meetings go, the wine was flowing, the food kept coming out and my friends and I all had a good time dancing, laughing and well, having fun. I'm embarrassed by becoming intoxicated, nothing bad happened, just loud laughing, silly dancing and basically imagine a bunch of girls in a pub. I apologised to him for having to see me like that. The man I met has said that there is no problem and not to worry about it as nothing was done to make me feel like that. So, it's my problem. Nothing more has been said about it. He is a very professional professional, so how could i redeem myself by showing him that I am not this person that became on the night of the business dinner, but am in fact a dignified professional young woman, who does take her life seriously. Or am i over analysing things.
creighton0123 Posted May 25, 2011 Posted May 25, 2011 What types of business meetings do you attend where you all get drunk, dance, and have fun? Sounds like your company rocks. Seriously. Redeem yourself by doing quality work and avoiding drunken debauchery next time you have a business meeting with this man.
Author momo81 Posted May 25, 2011 Author Posted May 25, 2011 lol - it does rock. health professionals... they get rowdy when allowed thanks for your advice, much appreciated
carhill Posted May 25, 2011 Posted May 25, 2011 I haven't been to business meetings where there's dancing. Wrong profession I guess I wouldn't worry about it. You're human. Nice, professional, professional men are human too. They understand these things. As long as you weren't on the table smacking heads with your loosened bra, I think you'll be OK. Leave it in the past.
