Dumper scared to contact ?

I was wondering guys, has anybody ever had the situation where the person who did the dumping did so in such a horrible way due to anger/hormones etc that once nc was initiated by the dumpee even though the dumper WANTED to get back in touch or ask how you are they might be in fear of doing so incase you either get really annoyed at them having the nerve to contact you and disrupt your healing or for fear of what they might hear ie dumpee has moved on to somebody else

i really think i may be in this situation and am currently caught between a rock and a hard place

having received private number calls that due to the time and frequency of these i am 100% certain it is my ex i either

bite the bullet and contact her and maybe she will admit to the private number calls, cry and say she missed me and wanted to contact me etc and start talking to me again

or

will deny the private number calls and berate me for calling her again

i really dont know what to do and would love some advice

my ex is a rare case.

he betrayed me for a 19-year-old girl, he is 26 year old, the girl's teacher in college

i dumped him because of his betray

He got together with the girl immediately after one month breakup

he contacted me pretending we are friends.

i just want to rant that he is disgusting

Honestly no is the answer.

 

As a dumper many times, you still think person likes you so NO do not contact.

from your perspective as a dumper please can you give me some insight as to why the hell she is giving me private number calls then

she isnt doing them on a regular basis so its not to annoy me

i got 7 in one day starting from 07.56 to 10.09 - she seemed desperate for me to pick up so she could hear my voice ? NO? thats what my logic and experience of goinf out with her shows me
