We've gone on a couple dates and we have great chemistry together in person but she seems really distant via text or when I talk to her on the phone and she rarely gets back to me when I send her messages via text or her phone. Her ex bf and her broke up about a month ago and I'm trying to give her space but I really like her. I treat her with respect and I respect her boundaries. I treat her like a princess on dates and in person. We've kissed a few times but she doesn't seem like she wants to hang out with me outside of seeing her in person. I got her a little something for her birthday a couple weeks ago. It was a little plush animal(her favorite animal) and a cd she really likes but didn't have. The only time I've actually hung out or seen her other than our two dates is that we work together. I get to talk to her a little bit then but she doesn't initiate anything. She never calls me or texts me. I either call or text her every couple days, mix it up sometimes, to see how she is and how her day went. I just hate that I'm giving so much into this and trying to make this a relationship and it doesn't seem like she is giving me the same effort or even likes me. I'm just really confused.
