Women who think that FWB is a "starter" for a relationship are (sadly) deluding themselves. Just because a man is willing to use you for sex does not mean that he is willing to date you. In fact, it pretty much proves that he isn't.
rs.dallaire Posted May 22, 2011 Posted May 22, 2011 I guess it depends on why you were FWB to begin with. Young people who don't want to commit may end up developing feelings after a while. Older folks who have been through a lot may want to take things slow and in that case, FWB is not a sign of lack of attraction. Then you have the classic situation where a guy has sex with a woman because she's available but keeps looking at other options because she's not good enough to be girlfriend material.
