robthefool Posted May 22, 2011 Posted May 22, 2011 Ok, so I've been in no contact with my ex for 5 weeks now after breaking up in february and later deciding that I wanted nothing to do with her after how she treated me after the break up. I didn't tell her I was going NC and before that I had been as nice to her as I could. Anyway I've been feeling much better thanks to NC. She tried contacting me 3 weeks ago but I just ignored it. Then a week and a half ago she seemed to be quite pissed off at me because she copied my BBM status sarcastically (the status was like 'so ruined' after I'd got back from the gym) for those of you who don't know, BBM is blackberry messenger on blackberry phones and its like free texting where you can also update and see your friends' status. I also ignored this and then a few days ago I found out that her phone was broken from her facebook status so she put a status asking people to add her new number and BBM pin. Needless to say I didn't add her, so a day later she sends me a request to add me. Normally, the automated message says '(name) would like to add you to his/her contact list' but she had editted it to say '(her name) doesn't really want to add you, but still' I could not believe that she actually said that and thought I'd accept it. I deleted the request and then the next morning she sent me another one with just the normal standard automated message. So obviously she still doesn't want to let me go or something but can anyone else explain this? She's given vibes that she doesn't like me yet she doesn't want the contact door to be shut even though she hasn't actually tried contacting me for 3 weeks or so.. I have no interest in even seeing or talking to her again!
Ira Posted May 22, 2011 Posted May 22, 2011 Wish I of the female sex side could explain actions like this - but you are 100% right. This is stupid! Can you block her? I don't have a BB Just from this little bit of info, I would call her a game player, as in head games. Ignore her!! Let her mess with someone else life
SunnyV Posted May 22, 2011 Posted May 22, 2011 I agree with Ira. I would ignore her. I think she wants to keep you around in case somebody else doesn't work out.
sunshine suki Posted May 22, 2011 Posted May 22, 2011 Oh my, what a B****. Though, she seems to want a little attention here... Very, very immature. Completely ignore her. You have other things to do in your life that to give importance to such things, don't you? Don't jump into this game. Don't give her your power and she, hopefully, will learn something from it.
